In the first quarter of 2021, the drawing and coloring app category saw varied performance across leading apps on the Android platform in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Paint by Number: Coloring Game started the quarter with a strong 89K downloads, which tapered to 47K by the end of March. Revenue for the app followed a similar downward trend, from approximately $28K in the last week of December to around $25K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users showed a slight decline from 548K to 562K over the same period.

Beresnev Games' Gallery: Color by number game witnessed a modest increase in revenue from $24K to $28K, while downloads saw a peak of 8K in February before settling at around 6K by March end. The app's active users experienced a slight dip from 71K to 79K during the quarter.

X-FLOW's Happy Color®: Coloring Book showed a decrease in downloads from 96K to 47K, with revenue also declining from $16K to $9.6K. However, the app maintained a robust active user base, starting at 1.17M and ending the quarter at 1.17M.

The US-based Recolor - Adult Coloring Book observed a revenue increase from $8.8K to $10.5K in early March before dropping to $8.2K. Downloads peaked at 7.4K in mid-February and reduced to 4.4K by the end of March. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 17K and closing the quarter at 17.7K.

Cross-Stitch World, also from a US publisher, showed a revenue increase from $12K to $9.3K by the quarter's end. The app had no downloads recorded until mid-March, which then briefly rose to 617 before falling back to zero. Active users had a minimal decrease from 7.2K to 5.9K.
